ABOUT FABA
The businesses of the Fishtown area have organized together to support and grow the Fishtown business community for residents, business owners, workers and customers. Our mission is to charitably promote educational and economical development in our community.
FABA holds monthly public meetings for anyone to attend, all businesses are encouraged to attend and share their concerns and ideas for the neighborhood. FABA is supported by area organizations to help achieve our goals, Fishtown Neighbors Association, the Girard Coalition Inc, the New Kensington CDC, and Philadelphia Commercial Development Corporation are just a few active partners.
Some of our goals include:
• connecting with and serving our neighborhood in different ways
• to better develop our identity and strengthen our base in the community
• cooperating with adjacent communities to leverage support from our elected officials
• attracting new businesses,
• strengthening the area’s identity
• organizing neighborhood festivals
All Businesses in the Fishtown area are encouraged to become members and have their voice heard!
