FABA members are organizing a neighborhood festival showcasing the fish Shad which was once a prominent part of the economy here. Shad fest activities may include
- a cooking competetion
- live local bands
- a craft fair
- children's educational activities and eco crafts
- waterfront ecology info
- raffles, etc.
This would most likely take place at Penn Treaty Park around April 19th. The idea is to get the word out about FABA and our wonderful businesses and build our membership base.
