CALL FOR ARTISTS/GRAPHIC DESIGNERS-
LOGO COMPETITION

Fishtown Area Business Association (FABA) is hosting a logo competition.
We are seeking area artists and graphic designers to craft a logo for our permanent use for our identity. We are an association of local business owners and entrepreneurs who seek to improve the business climate and atmosphere. We hold meetings once a month to discuss area issues and opportunities and plan to launch neighborhood marketing campaigns and hold events to draw new customers and new businesses. We also are a forum to discuss issues with our elected officials and other groups that affect our area.

The Design Parameters-
Should be made in vector art format but sent to us in a PDF format.
Does NOT have to include a fish, but could.
Needs to be able to look good in black and white and be resizable.
Needs to include the words- Fishtown Area Business Association
and our website www.fishtownbusiness.org .

Winners will receive glory and recognition and a VIP NIGHT OUT ON FISHTOWN! This would include a complimentary facial from Affordable Skin Care salon, dinner at a local restaurant for 2, and drinks and a show at Johnny Brenda’s! We will also recognize you on our website as the designer of our logo with a link to your website.

Please submit your entries and questions to Kathryn at New Kensington CDC NO LATER THAN October 1st by 5pm.
Upon review by our board committee, we will contact you and may ask you to make MINOR changes (if any) and you will be notified within 1 week, so no later than October 8th 2008. Please include contact information as well as identify if you are located within the Fishtown AREA (loosely defined as within the 19125 zip code) preference will be given to local people.
